2023 FAN GUIDESTATESBORO - As part of our continued commitment to providing an elite experience for our fans, Georgia Southern Athletics is always listening to your feedback as we identify ways to improve the gameday experience at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The department has worked diligently this off-season to implement several positive enhancements. Below are just a few items we have implemented to improve your gameday experience:Game Day Travel Gets Easier With Waze• On Waze, fans can type in Allen E Paulson and click on parking lots and see all the football gameday lots around the stadium or you can just type in your lot like "Blue Lot" or "PAC RV Lot," and you'll see the lot name and - Allen E Paulson next to it as well as the address under it. • The app also has the Malecki Dr. road closure set to begin at 8 a.m. for each of the six gamedays this football season so fans will have accurate directions to their respective lot.Erk Russell statue moving • The legendary statue that is located in front of the Ted Smith Family Football Center will move to the front of the Gene Bishop Field House so fans can take pictures with the statue at any time.Stroller Drop-Off• All fans who are bringing young children who would like to bring in a stroller can enter through Gate 8 and park them for the duration of the game with pick up upon exit. No strollers will be allowed to be on the concourse or seating area. Fans are reminded that parking strollers is at your own risk.Lot 29 is now online• A new lot that was formerly the University Villas lot is now a gameday-paid parking lot. This is an RV and first-come, first-served regular car parking lot for fans to use. Fans can pre-purchase season and/or single-game parking online at GSEagles.com/Tickets. Parking prices increase on gameday.Tailgate suites at the Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility• The new training facility is open and fully operational by the football team. All 31 tailgate suites have been sold.Turnkey Tailgating from REVELXP• Fans wanting to tailgate but not wanting to deal with the hassle of setting up and breaking down can rent an on-field tailgating suite at the Tippins Family Training Facility through REVELXP. To purchase, go to https://revelxp.com/georgia-southernYellow Lot parking returns• A year after having to take the lot offline due to construction, the Yellow Lot will return this year.Cowart, Gold, Peach, Blue, Green Lot improvements• The Blue and Green Lots have upgraded drainage and irrigation to help with wet conditions. All lots have been repaved and repainted.New traffic flow• With the completion of the Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility and parking lot upgrades come some important guidelines to follow as it relates to how fans enter and exit the donor parking lots at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. Fans with a parking pass in the Blue, Gold, Peach, Green or Teal Lots must enter the lot from Lanier Drive. CLICK HERE.New Fan Fest area• A new Fan Fest will be in place this year by student entrance off Malecki Drive to enhance the pregame experience.New Nütrl Fan Zone at Paulson• The new Nütrl Fan Zone at Paulson, complete with bars and a DJ, will open at 11 a.m. on game days. The Nütrl Fan Zone will be located off Malecki Drive across from the student entrance. Alcohol will be for sale to anyone aged 21 and up.The Eagle Walk returns to a familiar route• A year after having to alter the Eagle Walk due to construction, the Eagle Walk is back to a familiar route. Fans should line up along the Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility 2.5 hours prior to kickoff to meet the team as it gets off the yellow school buses and enters Paulson Stadium.New Stadium Security partner• Stadium People is now contracted to handle all the security needs of Allen E. Paulson Stadium.New Turf Field• A new, state-of-the-art turf field was installed this summer on Glenn Bryant Field to give the student-athletes a top-notch playing surface.New turf spots• New turf has been installed hillside next to the Smith Center where the team enters the field and in front of Bishop Field House.New directional signage• New direction signage has been installed around Paulson Stadium to help fans navigate Paulson Stadium. 50/50 raffle will include online sales• The popular 50/50 Gameday Raffle in the stadium will now also include online sales for anyone in the state of Georgia. Fans can purchase tickets through GSEagles.com/5050; winners do not have to be present to win.All-In-One Season Pass• Those who have mobile delivery for their season tickets will receive an All-In-One Mobile Pass. There is no more having to download each individual game to your mobile device. Georgia Southern fans will be able to download one pass for the season (for every sport) and after each game, your digital wallet will automatically update to the next game.Student Ticketing Updates• There is a new way to access your Eagle ID so that you are able to scan into athletic events. • Step 1: Open your Transact eAccount App on your phone • Step 2: Click the "More Information" tab under your Eagle ID • Step 3: Select "Show Barcode" to display • Step 4: Scan your ticket and you're in!• To help alleviate lines at the student entrance, please have your mobile Eagle ID ready to go when you get to the front of the line!• Go to https://gseagles.com/sports/2019/11/6/student-tickets.aspx for more information• As always, students are encouraged to arrive early to avoid lines and delays in getting into the stadium for kickoff.
